If two services sound similar
Start with the question
you need answered.
No need to memorize the catalog. These distinctions help you choose a scope.
A short front check or full street context?
Curb Check and Street Report are different scopes, not two names for the same visit.
A $49 metro full exterior and street-context record, including an observation-only occupancy note. Upgrade from Curb Check for $20 before checkout.
One look or a monthly history?
Start with how often you need a new exterior record.
One current look at an address. Useful before a visit, an offer discussion or a one-time owner update.
One exterior visit each month, with separate reports to return to over time.
Contractor work or post-loss repairs?
Choose the service around the work you want documented.
The specified exterior contractor work area, for a clearer progress or payment conversation.
The specified exterior repair area after a loss, including temporary protection and repair-stage context.
After a storm or during the repair?
The same property may need a different scope at a later stage.
A safe, ground-level record of visible post-event conditions after the weather event you identify.
A later record of the exterior repair area and its visible stage. It does not certify completion.
Occupancy context or extra asset detail?
Both lender services are no-contact, exterior records.
The exterior photo set and a supported occupied, vacant or unclear observation.
The occupancy record plus additional visible covering, door/window, notice and debris context.
For a short address check
Curb Check
The address. The front. A current view.
A short street stop with four to five photos: number, full front, street left, street right and one context frame. Explore three field scenarios below. Each one is a photo excerpt, not the entire delivery.Explore 3 practical situations

Example 1 of 3
Exterior record
2 complementary views from selected sample pages. Select a photo to explore its observations.
What you receive
Four to five front and street-context photos, with unreadable numbers or blocked views explicitly identified. No occupancy note, side, roofline or neighbor set.
What to send us
- The complete address and your lawful purpose.
- Check metro coverage. Extended or remote locations require a quote.
Know the boundary
Selected sample pages. The visible number alone does not verify the street, city or ownership. No occupancy note or full exterior assessment.
Curb Check / Practical usesWhen would I use this?Confirm the front at an address · A quick front update · Need more before an offer?3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
Confirm the front at an address
A short record without the full exterior scope.
A starting formatOne street stop / $29 base
“Please photograph the house number, full front and street left/right at this address, with one context view.”
- House number, or an explicit unreadable-number limitation.
- Full front and street-left/right views.
- One context frame, for four to five photos total.
Check the current front-elevation record before arranging your next step.
Keep in mindNo occupancy note, side views, roofline or neighbor set. Metro checkout only; rural locations require a quote.
Situation 02
A quick front update
See the front when you cannot make a short street stop yourself.
A starting formatOne street stop / $29 base
“I have not seen the property recently. Please capture the address and front, without approaching occupants.”
- Address and front elevation.
- Street left and street right.
- Front/street context and any unavailable views.
Keep a short front record. Choose Away Watch for scheduled monthly exterior visits.
Keep in mindThis service does not determine whether someone lives at the property or document the whole exterior.
Situation 03
Need more before an offer?
Know when to upgrade before placing your order.
A starting formatStreet Report upgrade / $49 metro total
“I started with a front check, but need full street context and an observation-only occupancy note before my offer.”
- Select the Street Report upgrade before checkout.
- Metro total becomes $49, not $29 plus a second visit.
- The professional receives the full Street Report checklist.
Choose the scope once: the $20 upgrade changes the dispatched service to Street Report.
Keep in mindThe extra views and occupancy note are not included in the $29 Curb Check unless upgraded.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.

What you receive
A street-facing photo set, available visit metadata, concise field notes and an explicit record of inaccessible views.
What to send us
- The full property address and your lawful purpose.
- Any exterior feature you want the field team to prioritize.
Know the boundary
Selected sample pages. No interior or roof access, valuation or home inspection. Street photos do not establish neighborhood safety, resident identity or hidden conditions.
Street Report / Practical usesWhen would I use this?An inherited home, far away · The listing leaves out the surroundings · One current look at a rental3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
An inherited home, far away
Get a current exterior baseline before arranging a local visit.
A starting formatOne report / $49 base
“I am an authorized heir and live out of state. Please document the street-facing exterior, entry, yard and visible concerns.”
- Front and available street-facing angles.
- Visible entry, roofline, yard and driveway.
- Areas hidden by fences, vegetation or access limits.
Use the photos to decide which local professional to contact and what to ask them to look at. Keep a baseline for later visits.
Keep in mindAn exterior record does not establish legal ownership, property value or the condition inside the home.
Situation 02
The listing leaves out the surroundings
Understand the driveway, nearby buildings and immediate street context.
A starting formatOne report / $49 base
“Before I arrange a viewing, please show the front approach, driveway and immediate surroundings visible from the street.”
- The property in its immediate street setting.
- Visible driveway and pedestrian approach.
- Adjacent context and any obstructed views.
Bring specific questions to the seller or agent, rather than assuming the listing photos show every relevant exterior angle.
Keep in mindPhotos are not a boundary survey, neighborhood rating, traffic study or recommendation to buy.
Situation 03
One current look at a rental
An exterior update when you do not need a recurring plan.
A starting formatOne report / $49 base
“I own this rental and need a one-time street-side view of the front, yard and visible exterior. Please do not contact occupants.”
- The street-facing exterior on the visit.
- Visible yard, curb and entry context.
- Occupancy indicators, with uncertainty stated.
Use the record to start a specific maintenance conversation with your property manager. Choose Away Watch if you want a monthly history.
Keep in mindThis is not a tenant interview, lease-compliance determination or interior rental inspection.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.

Exterior record
2 complementary views from selected sample pages. Select a photo to explore its observations.
What you receive
Work-area context, second angles and details where accessible, visible materials, and notes tied to the requested scope.
What to send us
- The exterior work area and the milestone you want documented.
- A reference photo or written scope, if available. Three-visit packs use the same address and work area.
Know the boundary
Photos do not certify completion, workmanship, code compliance or amounts payable. Hidden installation layers are not inspected.
PayProof / Practical usesWhen would I use this?A fence contractor requests payment · An exterior painting milestone · Three milestones on one project3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
A fence contractor requests payment
Document the specified exterior work before the next conversation.
A starting formatOne visit / $59 base
“Please photograph the new front fence section, its visible ends, the gate area and any materials left beside the work.”
- The requested fence section in context.
- Second angles and visible details where accessible.
- Remaining materials, debris and unavailable views.
Compare the visible scope with your agreement and ask the contractor about anything still unclear before making your own payment decision.
Keep in mindNo post-depth test, structural assessment, workmanship approval or determination of the amount owed.
Situation 02
An exterior painting milestone
Check which visible surfaces have been documented, not just one close-up.
A starting formatOne visit / $59 base
“Please document the accessible front-wall painting area and trim. I will provide the agreed work area and a reference photo.”
- A wide view of the specified wall.
- Visible trim, transitions and work-area details.
- Reference context and areas that cannot be seen.
Discuss apparent gaps or differences using a shared set of photos instead of relying on a single contractor-selected angle.
Keep in mindPhotos do not verify surface preparation, coating thickness, exact color or durability.
Situation 03
Three milestones on one project
Build a sequence around the same address and work area.
A starting formatThree-visit pack / $159 base
“I want three visits to the front walkway work area: an initial record, a mid-project update and a final requested view. Please confirm the dates.”
- The same specified area at each confirmed visit.
- Comparable angles where access allows.
- Visible work, materials and limitations at each stage.
Follow the visible sequence and make each contractor conversation more specific. Each visit remains its own record, not a completion certificate.
Keep in mindThe pack covers one address and work area. Dates require confirmation; visits are not automatically tied to contractor payment deadlines.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.

Example 1 of 3
Exterior record
2 complementary views from selected sample pages. Select a photo to explore its observations.
What you receive
An individual report for each monthly visit, available photos and notes, plus email-linked access to earlier reports and plan billing.
What to send us
- The property address and any lawful exterior access instructions.
- A monthly plan, or a metro-only annual plan. Rural visits use monthly service plus routing.
Know the boundary
A scheduled exterior visit, not continuous monitoring, security, emergency response or an interior home-watch inspection. A closed door is not a lock test.
Away Watch / Practical usesWhen would I use this?A seasonal home between stays · Keep up with exterior maintenance · A year of monthly exterior records3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
A seasonal home between stays
Keep an exterior record during the months you are away.
A starting formatMonthly / $49 per month
“Please make one exterior visit each month while I am away, focusing on the visible entrance, front windows, curb and landscaping.”
- A monthly street-facing exterior photo set.
- Visible entrances, windows and landscaping.
- Specific observations and views unavailable that month.
Review the history remotely and arrange local maintenance when an observation needs attention.
Keep in mindOne scheduled visit per month is not continuous monitoring, an interior home-watch service or emergency coverage.
Situation 02
Keep up with exterior maintenance
Use a monthly history to discuss visible yard and curb conditions.
A starting formatMonthly / $49 per month
“Please include the front landscaping and curb area in my monthly exterior record. I want context for conversations with my local maintenance team.”
- The visible yard and street-side approach.
- Curbside items and accessible entry views.
- A dated visit record when capture metadata is available.
Compare available monthly views and ask focused questions about visible changes. Use PayProof for a specific contractor work milestone.
Keep in mindA monthly photo does not prove that a contractor visited, establish causation or verify every task performed.
Situation 03
A year of monthly exterior records
Plan for twelve separate visits, not twelve visits at once.
A starting formatAnnual (metro only) / $499 per year
“I want an annual Away Watch plan with one exterior visit per month and access to the individual reports for this address.”
- One exterior record for each monthly visit.
- Available photos, notes and visit metadata.
- A history of separate reports in the email-linked account.
Return to earlier reports when planning maintenance or preparing for your next stay, rather than searching through scattered messages.
Keep in mindThe $499 annual plan is metro only: twelve monthly visits, not unlimited calls or on-demand dispatch. Extended and remote areas use monthly service plus routing. Coverage and plan terms must be confirmed.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.

Exterior record
2 complementary views from selected sample pages. Select a photo to explore its observations.
What you receive
Street-level post-event photos, visible concern details where safe, available capture metadata, and any safety or access limitations.
What to send us
- The weather event type and date.
- The areas of concern and any known access restrictions.
Know the boundary
Not emergency response, a cause-of-loss opinion, a roof inspection or an insurance-coverage decision. Unsafe views are not attempted.
Storm Check / Practical usesWhen would I use this? After heavy rain nearby · Concern about the roofline or gutters · A storm update while you are away3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
After heavy rain nearby
Record visible ground-level water, mud and exterior context once access is safe.
A starting formatOne visit / $69 base
“There was heavy rain on the date provided. Please document street-level water or mud, the front approach and visible exterior concerns from safe positions.”
- Street and front-approach conditions.
- Visible water, mud or displaced items.
- Exterior context and any unsafe or inaccessible areas.
Share the visible conditions with a local professional to plan follow-up. A dry view later does not establish that flooding never occurred.
Keep in mindNo entry into floodwater, moisture testing, hidden-water-damage assessment or insurance-coverage opinion.
Situation 02
Concern about the roofline or gutters
Get safe ground-level context after a reported wind or hail event.
A starting formatOne visit / $69 base
“After the reported weather event, please photograph the roofline, visible gutters and any displaced exterior materials from the ground.”
- Roof slopes and gutters visible from ground level.
- Visible coverings or displaced items.
- Distance, obstructions and other limits to detail.
Identify questions for a qualified roofer. Use the photos as context for the follow-up, not as a diagnosis.
Keep in mindNo roof access, drone inspection or confirmation of hail damage. Cause and concealed roof conditions are not established.
Situation 03
A storm update while you are away
See visible branches, fence alignment and the front approach.
A starting formatOne visit / $69 base
“I am out of town after the reported storm. Please document front-yard debris, visible fencing and the approach without entering unsafe areas.”
- Visible branches and displaced exterior items.
- Fence and entry context from safe locations.
- Unattempted views and access limitations.
Send a clear photo record to an appropriate local professional. If repair work later needs documenting, use Loss Progress for the next stage.
Keep in mindNo debris removal, safety clearance, emergency response or confirmation that the property is safe to enter.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.

What you receive
Wide and detail repair views where accessible, temporary protection, materials, and reference comparisons only when usable earlier views exist.
What to send us
- The exact exterior repair area and the stage to document.
- An earlier reference if you want a supported comparison. Pack dates must be confirmed.
Know the boundary
No estimate of percentage complete, approval of workmanship, release of insurance funds or certification of weather-tightness.
Loss Progress / Practical usesWhen would I use this?Temporary protection is in place · Follow an exterior repair through stages · A repair has reached its next milestone3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
Temporary protection is in place
Record visible boarding, sheeting or covering before the next repair stage.
A starting formatOne visit / $69 base
“Please document the specified exterior repair area, its temporary covering and nearby materials before the next contractor update.”
- The repair area and covering in context.
- Visible edges and details from accessible angles.
- Nearby materials and anything hidden by the covering.
Keep a current record and ask the contractor what comes next. Use later supported views to discuss visible changes.
Keep in mindThe presence of a covering does not verify its installation, weather-tightness or the condition beneath it.
Situation 02
Follow an exterior repair through stages
An initial, interim and later requested view of the same work area.
A starting formatThree-visit pack / $189 base
“Please document the same front-wall repair over three confirmed visits, using comparable angles when access allows.”
- The specified repair area on each visit.
- Visible materials and temporary protection.
- Supported comparisons with usable earlier views.
Discuss how the visible repair stage has changed and what still needs clarification. Retain the individual reports as a sequence.
Keep in mindNo percentage-complete estimate, contractor schedule guarantee or approval to release insurance funds.
Situation 03
A repair has reached its next milestone
Document the requested stage without calling it certified completion.
A starting formatOne visit / $69 base
“The contractor reports a new exterior repair milestone. Please record the specified wall, visible transitions and remaining materials.”
- Wide and closer views of the repair area.
- Visible transitions and any remaining temporary protection.
- Materials, debris and areas outside the available view.
Use the report to prepare a focused follow-up with the contractor or a qualified inspector.
Keep in mindNew siding or paint alone does not verify concealed repairs, code compliance or completion of the entire project.

What you receive
The selected format's photo set, visible creative and context, reference comparison where supported, and legibility or obstruction limits.
What to send us
- Choose storefront or posting; supply the address and business or creative name.
- Include a reference, unit ID and requested date window. Multiple stops require a reviewed route quote.
Know the boundary
No campaign-impression estimates, audience measurement, business-viability assessment or implied continuous display. Night views and video are optional, not included in this example.
Storefront / Posting Proof / Practical usesWhen would I use this?A campaign reaches local storefronts · An outdoor posting needs a location record · A sign needs an after-dark view3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
A campaign reaches local storefronts
Document the visible creative at each specifically requested stop.
A starting formatOne stop / $69 base
“Please document the business sign and specified window display. I will supply the location, creative name and approved reference.”
- Business name and full storefront context.
- The requested window creative and visible details.
- Reference comparison where supported, including obstructions.
Discuss placement or apparent creative differences with the location team using an independent exterior record.
Keep in mindOne stop is not a multi-location package. Routes need a quote; photos do not prove campaign performance or continuous display.
Situation 02
An outdoor posting needs a location record
Connect the creative with its structure and street context.
A starting formatOne stop / $69 base
“Please use the posting format for the specified shelter or billboard unit. I will provide the location, unit ID and approved creative.”
- Creative face and structure context where accessible.
- Alternate street angle and visible obstruction or damage.
- Legibility, distance and access limitations.
Give the placement team a record of the requested unit and raise specific questions when the available views differ from the reference.
Keep in mindNo traffic counts, audience measurement or guaranteed close-up of an inaccessible elevated panel.
Situation 03
A sign needs an after-dark view
Request the optional night visit when illumination matters.
A starting formatOne stop / $69 baseIlluminated sign / night visit: +$15, only if confirmed.
“Please quote the optional night visit for this storefront sign so its visible after-dark appearance can be documented.”
- The sign and exterior context at the confirmed night visit.
- Visible illumination from the available viewpoint.
- Exposure, reflection, distance and access limitations.
Share the nighttime appearance with the local team or sign contractor when a daytime photo would not answer the question.
Keep in mindThe night extra requires confirmation. A single visit does not test electrical safety or establish hours of continuous operation.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.

Exterior record
2 complementary views from selected sample pages. Select a photo to explore its observations.
What you receive
Required exterior views, an evidence-based occupancy observation, visible concerns, available GPS and time, and access limitations.
What to send us
- One address or a list with street, city, state, ZIP and service.
- A lawful purpose and business contact. Do not include borrower names, account numbers or private loan documents.
Know the boundary
No door knock, interview, interior access, occupancy affidavit, certified vacancy, GSE inspection or agency-specific compliance form.
Portfolio Occupancy / Practical usesWhen would I use this? The file needs a current occupancy observation · A gate or vegetation limits the view · Several addresses need the same standard3 situations
Choose a situation to see how a request becomes a useful record. These are request examples, separate from the photo walkthrough above.
Situation 01
The file needs a current occupancy observation
Keep the conclusion tied to what can actually be seen.
A starting formatOne address / $49 base
“Please document street-level occupancy indicators for this address without approaching or contacting occupants.”
- Required exterior views from the public right-of-way.
- Visible indicators with a supporting observation note.
- Occupied, vacant or unclear, according to supported evidence.
Add the exterior observation to your file. Retain Unclear whenever the available view does not support a stronger conclusion.
Keep in mindAn empty driveway, closed blinds or refuse bins alone do not certify occupancy or vacancy.
Situation 02
A gate or vegetation limits the view
An honest limitation is more useful than a guessed status.
A starting formatOne address / $49 base
“Please record the exterior from lawful public viewpoints and document any gate, vegetation or distance that limits the view.”
- Views available without entry or contact.
- The obstruction and its effect on required coverage.
- An appropriately qualified observation, including Unclear.
Identify where the file needs another authorized source of information instead of treating missing photos as evidence of vacancy.
Keep in mindNo trespass, gate opening, door knock or attempt to bypass the obstruction. Missing views are documented, not invented.
Situation 03
Several addresses need the same standard
Submit a clean list for a reviewed route and schedule.
A starting formatAddress list / reviewed quote
“Please quote a list of addresses for no-contact Portfolio Occupancy records. Each row includes street, city, state, ZIP and service.”
- An address-specific exterior record for each requested stop.
- The same required view categories and observation standard.
- Visit-specific evidence and limitations rather than a blanket conclusion.
Review the individual property records consistently and identify which addresses need further authorized follow-up.
Keep in mindList pricing and timing are quoted. Do not include borrower names, loan account numbers or private loan documents.

What to send us
- The property address or a list, selected service and lawful purpose.
- Any specific exterior concern. No borrower identity or private loan data is needed.
Know the boundary
Appearance does not establish foreclosure, abandonment or vacancy. No legal-status verification, trespass, contact, property securing, appraisal or certified inspection.

- Exterior and street-level occupancy context.
- Visible roof coverings, doors and glass.
- Notices and debris views, or an explicit limitation.
Prioritize appropriate follow-up on the visible concerns while keeping the observations separate from legal status.
Keep in mindAppearance does not establish foreclosure, abandonment, legal ownership or certified vacancy.

“Please include any notice and curbside debris visible from the public right-of-way, with context and legibility limitations.”
- The available public view of the relevant exterior area.
- Visible notice context, without inventing unreadable text.
- Debris or obstructions in the surrounding exterior view.
Know what was actually visible and which details require a separate authorized source or qualified follow-up.
Keep in mindNo notice delivery, legal interpretation, borrower contact or inference about the contents of an unreadable notice.
Situation 03
A list needs deeper exterior records
Use a consistent scope for addresses requiring more visible-condition detail.
A starting formatAddress list / reviewed quote
“Please quote Pre-foreclosure Snapshot records for this address list, including the additional exterior-concern views for each property.”
- The required address-specific exterior and occupancy views.
- Visible covering, door/window, notice and debris context.
- Unavailable views and uncertainty recorded per address.
Compare the available records and decide where a qualified local follow-up is warranted, without relying on a generic condition score.
Keep in mindA list does not include securing properties, appraisals or agency-certified inspections. Price and schedule require a reviewed quote.
Formats are suggestions, not booked visits. Any routing fees, list schedule and requested extras are confirmed for your address.
